Oscar Award winning, best-selling author Michelle Obama will have a 2nd West Coast school named after her, after the West Contra Costa Unified School District board in northern Cali voted unanimously to rename Wilson Elementary after her.
During the Mrs. Obama’s time in the White House, she routinely hosted events for school children; one of the most popular was planting and harvesting fruits and vegetables in the White House garden, which she created.
