ABC/Stewart CookCurtis “50 Cent” Jackson is getting to the bag.

On Wednesday, the music mogul and entrepreneur announced his upcoming show, titled Twenty Four Seven, starring T.I.

“I’m working what you are doing today,” 50 captioned a photo of T.I.,” who will play the lead in the series 50 anticipates will be another “hit television show.”

Twenty Four Seven was inspired by the 2006 book Notorious C.O.P.: The Inside Story of the Tupac, Biggie, and Jam Master Jay Investigations from NYPD’s First “Hip-Hop Cop,” written by Derrick Parker and Matt Diehl. Tip will play Parker in the series.

The book journeys through some of the most prominent criminal cases in hip-hop, from the Sean Combs 1999 shooting incident at Club New York, to Derrick personally escorting Jennifer Lopez to police headquarters afterward, to the first shooting of Tupac Shakur in 1994.

According to Deadline, CBS All Access is “final negotiations” for the project, which will be executive produced by 50’s G Unit Film & Television company and T.I.’s Grand Hustle Entertainment.

As of now, it’s unclear whether 50 will star in the show, as he has with his other series such as Starz’s Power and ABC’s For Life.  He may be too busy: according to his Instagram, he may also have a Netflix project in the works with black-ish creator and showrunner Kenya Barris.

T.I. is set to co-star in the upcoming installment of Genius: Aretha of the Nat Geo’s popular anthology series, alongside Cynthia Erivo as the Queen of Soul.
