On Monday, the rapper and Power co-creator shared on Instagram that he is working with the network to develop two new series: a female sports agent drama, inspired by the life of Nicole Lynn, and a hip hop anthology series.

“New Heat coming soon,” 50 wrote, captioning a post of the announcement.

According to Starz, the yet-titled female sports agent drama comes from Snowfall writer Tash Grey, who will exec produce alongside Lynn. It follows a young driven Black woman, who manages to break through the ranks and compete in the male dominated world of sports agents.

Lynn, who is the inspiration behind the upcoming series, became the first Black woman to represent a top-3 NFL draft pick. She currently represents NFL players, softball players, music acts, and has now received her certification for the NBA.

Meanwhile, the hip hop anthology series tentatively titled, Moment in Time: The Massacre, comes from writer and executive producer Abdul Williams.

It is described as a “seasonal” anthology series that will explore the real-life stories and iconic hip hop moments that often collided with the “sensational” and sometimes criminal events behind-the-scenes.

The first season of the series will follow the tension between 50 Cent and the rapper The Game. In their real-life battle, 50 Cent’s G-Unit went up against music manger Jimmy Henchman, which resulted in a murder-for-hire plot and Henchman serving a life sentence in prison.

These are the latest projects from 50, who currently has three Power spinoffs in the works at Starz.
