50 Cent shockingly apologizes to Megan Thee Stallion after joking about her shooting

by

ABC/John SalangsangSocial media is in shock over 50 cent apologizing to Megan Thee Stallion after earlier sharing a meme about her shooting incident with Tory Lanez.

Many didn’t find the meme funny, and 50 made his apology as public as his insensitive remarks after seeing Megan break down in an Instagram Live video.

On Monday, Megan let fans know she was “alive and well after being hit in both feet during a July 12 shooting, after which Tory Lanez was arrested on felony weapons charges.

The “Savage” rapper held back tears, describing “the scary experience” of having surgery on both her feet. She also mentioned she’s been “fake narratives” being painted about her on social media and in blogs.

“It was nothing for y’all to start going and making up fake stories about,” Megan said. “I ain’t never seen so many grown men chime in on some[thing] that wasn’t the[ir] business in the first place. Like, do y’all [men] just wake up and get on the internet and be like, ‘Oh, I’ll say this today because this gon’ give me some likes, this gon’ be funny?”’

That apparently got 50 Cent’s attention, and prompted an out-of-character apology from the troll king.

“Damn, I didn’t think this was real; it sounded so crazy,” 50 captioned a clip from Megan’s live, posted to his own Instagram. “I’m glad your feeling better, and I hope you can accept my apology. I posted a meme that was floating around. I wouldn’t have done that if I knew you were really hurt. Sorry.”
