Award-winning actor and native Texan Rip Torn has died. Torn who graced the stage and screen for over 6 decades. One of his most memorable roles as the foul-mouthed talk show producer in The Larry Sanders Show (1992-98), which garnered him six Emmy award nominations as best supporting actor in a comedy series, and finally the WIN in 1996.
Among acting credits Torn co-starred alongside Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in the original version of the Men In Black series as ‘Agent Zed.’
Smith served up condolences on IG with a still photo and the words, “RIP, Rip.” Torn was 88.
