James BaileyAlicia Keys declared “I’m in heaven!” after celebrating her 40th trip around the sun.
Though her birthday’s Monday, the multi-Grammy-winning singer was overwhelmed with joy after celebrating her milestone at a special Sunday dinner prepared by her husband, Swizz Beatz.
“The most magnificent start to my big birthday! I swear I have the best husband in the galaxyyyyyy!” wrote Keys on Instagram, sharing photos from her dinner. “Big thanks to our babies for my fireworks tonight! I love you so much!”
Keys brought in the big 4-0 with a marachi band and her family and friends, whom she says “are so special to me!” Keys assured that all guests received COVID-19 tests before attending her birthday bash.
“Thank you to my incredible mama and Craig for giving me life! And endless love to my gorgeous AK Fam for all your love through the years!” Alicia wrote. “I’m in heaven! What a night!”
Swizz Beatz also took to Instagram to celebrate his wife of 10 years and to thank her for being the shining light in their family and sharing her gifts with the world.
“My love thank you for everything. I thank your Mom & Dad for bringing you to this earth to make magic,” wrote Swizz. “I love the way you love me and love all of our five kids. Your music saved so many people with love. Your charity efforts saved millions. You never talk about any of your achievements but I will. The best of the best hands down, Queen Keys the great. Happy Birthday.”
