RCA RecordsAlicia Keys has returned with a powerful new single and video titled “Show Me Love,” featuring Miguel.
Under the direction of Cara Stricker, the dialed-down ballad is brought to life in a riveting music video, which is pieced together through a series of single shots. The visual features cameos from Michael B. Jordan and Zoe Saldana, as well as the Avengers actress’ husband, Marco Perego-Saldana.
“Show Me Love” marks the first release from Keys’ forthcoming seventh studio album, whose title has yet to be revealed.
The track has also inspired a “visual sonic installation” which will open to the public in New York City from September 18 to September 22. The installation will be an “artistic meditation on the different emotional journeys and expressions of love we experience throughout life,” according to a statement.
“I have been on this journey to be more vulnerable; in my life, in my music; and this new visual experience reflects this time,” Keys said of her latest offering in a statement.
“‘Show Me Love’ displays different expressions of love, the journey of it, the push and pull, the struggle and the eventual joy and peace.”
The Grammy-winning vocalist is set to perform her newest single during her headlining set at this year’s Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park on September 28.
