Alicia Keys, who is the co-creator of interactive children’s app The Journals of Mama Mae & LeeLee, has been selected to cut the ribbon at this weekend’s U.S. Toy Fair opening ceremony.
According to ToyNews-Online.biz, the singer will help kick off the festivities at the largest toy show ever held in North America. More than 30,000 attendees from 100 countries are expected at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
The singer will also hold a press conference about the app alongside an executive from the Toy Industry Association.
The event will begin on Sunday, February 16 at 10 a.m. ET and runs through February 19.
