While The Weeknd’s album came out to late in the year for Grammy consideration, he is nominated this year for his contribution to Beyonce’s nominated album Lemonade. Weeknd was the recipient of two Grammy awards in 2016 for Best R&B Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album.
Those artists will join previously announced performers Adele, John Legend, Bruno Mars, Metallica, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban on the telecast, which will be hosted by James Corden live from the STAPLES center in Los Angeles.
