Have you ever wondered what new music the artists you love are checking out?  Starting today, the song tagging app Shazam is giving you a window into exactly what sounds music’s biggest stars are jamming to.

Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, Wiz Khalifa, YG, Usher and Robin Thicke are just a few of the top stars who are participating in Shazam’s new music discovery program.  When you follow your favorites on Shazam, you’ll now be able to see what songs they’ve been Shazaming, and listen to them, too.  You can also give feedback directly to the artists about what you think of their taste in music.

In addition, for the first time, you’ll be able to see just how many times a track has been Shazamed.  So, for example, you can find out that pop group Maroon 5 has Shazamed a song called “Everyday” by A$AP Rocky featuring Rod Stewart, Miguel and Mark Ronson, which has had about 29,000 Shazams.

“The biggest artists in the world are also the biggest fans. They use Shazam every day to explore new music, and for the first time ever, their fans can share in those moments as they happen,” says Daniel Danker, chief product officer at Shazam.
