by

Republic RecordsFollowing rumors that Drake fathered a baby with former adult performer Sophie Brussaux, Drake not only confirms that he has a child, but discusses it quite a bit on his new album, Scorpion

As previously reported, Drake mentions his son on the tracks “Emotional” and “March 14,” saying in the former, “I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world/I was hidin’ the world from my kid,” and rapping in the latter, “I had to come to terms with the fact that it’s not a maybe/That s**t is in stone, sealed and signed/She’s not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine.”

In fact, “March 14” is all about Drake’s son.  He raps, “I’m out here on front lines just trying to make sure that I see him sometimes/It’s breaking my spirit/Single father, I hate when I hear it/I used to challenge my parents on every album/Now I’m embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent.”

He also laments not having spent any time with the boy, rapping, “I got an empty crib in my empty crib/
I only met you one time/introduced you to Saint Nick/I think he musta brought you like twenty gifts/
Your mother say you growin’ so fast that they don’t even really fit.”

In the track “Final Fantasy,” in which he raps about having sex with a woman, he says, “Did somebody—who’d they say that baby look like? Drake!”

In addition to details about fatherhood, Scorpion also includes features from JAY-Z, Ty Dolla $ign, Static Major and even Michael Jackson.  The late King of Pop’s voice can be heard on the song “Don’t Matter to Me.”
