ALLEN TEXAS WON’T CONSIDER FACEMASK DURING PANDEMIC

by

There has been rising cases of the coronavirus cases across North Texas, and Allen Texas is still not considering facemask in businesses. The city plans to continue to encourage residents to follow guidelines and recommendations from the CDC and Gov. Greg Abbott like social distancing, and wearing facemask in public. According to City Hall of Allen in a Facebook post; “We are listening to all the concerns and opinions expressed an will continue to provide information and updates on this evolving situation”. The majority of the comments in that recent post are all residents hoping to have the City at least make it mandatory for facemask in businesses just like Dallas and Tarrant county. Though the City of Plano voted to recommend masks, but not enforce the policy in businesses.
