Ari Lennox hints at releasing beautiful new records ahead of her sophomore album

by

Zara IsraelAfter appearances on Nasty C’s “Black and White” and Jazmine Sullivan‘s “On It,” Ari Lennox is focused on her sophomore album.

On Monday, the Dreamville songstress took to her Instagram story to tease fans about a few forthcoming songs.

“Wish y’all could hear these records. So [freakin’] beautiful. Organized Noize is the [ish.] Feeling so blessed. God is so so good,” wrote Ari.

Organized Noize is the preeminent Atlanta production crew who has contributed to albums for Cee-Lo Green, Gnarls Barkley, Janelle Monae, and more, including Outkast‘s Stankonia. It’s unclear exactly what “records” Ari was referring to, but hopefully it’s new music following her sensational 2020 record, “Chocolate Pomegranate.”

As she works to follow up her 2019 debut, Shea Butter Baby, Ari has also been spotted in the studio with a few other Grammy-winning producers including Megan Thee Stallion‘s “Savage” producer J. White and Missy Elliott.

Elliott shared a Twitter video earlier this month of herself and Ari listening to music in the studio. “@AriLennox played me some heat at the [studio]. Oh yea, she snapping on them joints! Now let’s see what we cook up,” Missy captioned the video. “A dream come true,” added Ari re-tweeting the video on her Twitter account.

Fans are expecting a lot from Ari’s sophomore album, after she earned her first Platinum plaque for her J.Cole-assisted track, “Shea Butter Baby” last month. But Ari never disappoints and may likely release her new album later this year.
