Last week, Ashanti filmed the video for her latest single “I Got It,” featuring Rick Ross inside The Bank Lounge in downtown Miami. Now, the singer is giving fans a brief look into her upcoming visual.
Ashanti released a trailer via her official Instagram page, which sees the singer doing fierce choreography while wearing a corset dress. The clip was directed by Eif Rivera.
“I got it” ft @richforever Coming soon!!!!!!!! Directed by my guy @eifrivera produced by my family @lthutton,” she wrote on in the accompanying caption.
There’s no release date set for the video, which includes cameos from DJ Khaled and the song’s producer, L.T. Hutton.
“I Got It” serves as the newest offering from Ashanti’s upcoming set, BraveHeart, which has already spawned collaborations with R. Kelly, Busta Rhymes and Beenie Man as well as production from Jerry Wonda, Detail and Sak Pase. The follow-up to 2008’s The Declaration is now expected to arrive on February 18 via Ashanti’s new label, Written Entertainment.
