ABC/Randy HolmesKeyshia Cole is officially headed back to reality TV. The singer-reality star has announced that she’s filming a baby special with BET.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Cole, who is expecting a child with boyfriend and aspiring rapper Niko Hale, revealed she has already starting to film.
“Had an awesome FIRST WEEK OF FILMING. KEYSHIA COLE IS COMING BACK TO BET!!!!!,” the singer wrote, captioning a series of photos from her upcoming show.
In one of the photos, Cole is seen with Hale Hale and her 10-year-old son Daniel Jr., whom she shares with estranged husband and NBA star Daniel Gibson.
“But this time she’s bringing Something SPECIAL! A BABY SPECIAL,” Cole continued, tagging a few of the people involved in her special.
Cole also hints that “Both MY MOMMIES, HOPEFULLY” will likely be part of the project. That includes her adoptive mom Yvonne Cole and biological mother Frankie Lons.
As previously noted, this isn’t Cole’s first BET docu-series. In 2006 she starred in Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, which followed the singer’s strained relationship with her biological mother.
After that she starred in two other series: Keyshia & Daniel: Family First, with her estranged husband; and Keyshia Cole: All In, with her extended family.
BET has yet to announce the special, or a premiere date. Meanwhile, Cole’s second child is due to arrive in just a couple of weeks.
