Francis Specker/CBSOne Beyoncé fan is now the proud owner of the superstar’s gold-plated microphone…and she only had to pay $11,000 to get it.
Over the weekend, CeCe Hendriks placed the winning bid for the mic during an auction held at the Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles, reports TMZ.
The event, hosted by Bey’s mom Tina Knowles Lawson and stepdad Richard Lawson, took place at the couple’s WACO Theater Center.
The working microphone, autographed by Bey herself, was used by the singer during her Formation World Tour and onstage during her electric Grammy performance this year.
Cece told TMZ that she plans to give the golden mic to her son on his 13th birthday, but added that it will stay locked away in a safety deposit box.
