Beyoncé and Tina Knowles Visit Solange on Saturday Night Live Set

by

Carlota GuerreroIt’s a family affair! Solange received more than an armful of support from older sister Beyoncé and mom Tina Lawson this past weekend on the set of Saturday Night Live.

The “Cranes in the Sky” singer was picked up by Bey and Tina, while exclaiming “Guys, I’m 30 years old!,” captured in an Instagram video posted by Lawson.

“She’s still our baby. We have been picking her up like this since she was 10 yrs old. On the legendary SNL stage,” Tina wrote.

Solange’s son, Daniel Julez Smith, Jr., husband Alan Ferguson and Jay Z also posed for some pictures with the SNL musical guest.  Luckily, no elevators were involved in the backstage confab.

Solange performed two of her hit songs — “Cranes in the Sky” and “Don’t Touch My Hair” — from her chart-topping album A Seat at the Table on the popular comedy sketch show on Saturday.

A Seat at the Table is scheduled to hit retailers November 18, with a vinyl release December 9.
