Beyonce, Drake, J. Cole & More Nominated for 2015 mtvU Woodies

The nominees have been announced for the 2015 mtvU Woodies, which airs next month.

According to the network, Beyonce‘s “7/11” is up for the Best Video of the Year while J. Cole is up for the Woodie of the Year.

Drake was nominated alongside Lil Wayne in the Next Level Performance category for creating an app that allowed audience members to choose which artist performed first on their joint tour.  Drake’s collaboration with iLoveMakonnen  on “Tuesday” is up for  Co-Sign Woodie, which celebrates collaborations.

Other nods go to Rae Sremmurd  for Best Emerging Artist, Sam Smith‘s rendition of Whitney Houston‘s “How Will I Know” for Best Cover Song and Eminem‘s “Detroit vs. Everybody” featuring Dej Loaf for Co-Sign Woodie.

The mtvU Woodies will air live on starting at 9 p.m. ET on Friday, March 20, from the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas.

Online voting starts today and runs through March 10.
