Credit: Robin Harper Beyonce has put a lot of time and energy into her new clothing line, Ivy Park, according to her business partner.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Sir Philip Green, chairman of British fashion retailer Topshop, spoke highly of Bey’s work ethic on her athletic collection. “She’s a perfectionist,” he says noting that with her hectic schedule “we had to fly overnight and do the product review in the rehearsal space. She came out all hot and bothered.”
Green believes consumers will flock to her new apparel, not just because of the name but because of the work they put into it. “I’m confident that next week we’re going to start well,” he says. “The key for me is that we continue to do well. I’m not arrogant at all. The product has got to be right. There’s no given it will sell.”
Additionally he spills that we will see her wearing the line on stage when her Formation World Tour kicks off on April 27.
The Ivy Park line will be available worldwide, online and in-store on April 14.
