Beyoncé, JAY-Z, Drake and more land on Variety’s list of the 500 Most Influential Leaders in Entertainment

ABC/Image Group LAVariety magazine’s 500 Most Influential Leaders in Entertainment list has arrived and a number of highly influential musical artists have made the cut.

One of them, named as “one of the most potent powerhouses in the music industry,” is Beyoncé, along with hubby JAY-Z, whom Variety names as “one of the most influential rappers of his generation.”

OVO Sound co-founder Drake is also on the list, thanks to his “metoric rise” from child actor on Canadian hit series Degrassi: The Next Generation to superstar rapper.  

His lucrative business deals with the likes of Nike and Sprite are noted.

Singer, actress and Fenty Beauty mogul Rihanna, G.O.O.D. Music CEO Kanye West and rapper and Flavor Unit Entertainment Co-CEO Queen Latifah are all featured among the best and brightest in entertainment, according to the publication.
