Bret Hartman/CBSBeyonce has become the first person to reach the 30-million-followers mark on Instagram.
The Queen Bey hit the milestone on the photo sharing platform without following a single person and having only shared 981 photos, most of which show off Bey’s fashionable wardrobe, precious moments with daughter Blue Ivy, vacations with Jay Z and candid shots of her backstage at various award ceremonies.
According to SocialBlade.com, the singer second only to Instagram itself when it comes to the number of followers, and she outpaces R&B peers like Rihanna, who has 17 million followers, and Chris Brown, who surprisingly only has 8 million followers.
Elsewhere, Nicki Minaj has 19.3 million while among pop acts Taylor Swift has 27.1 million and Justin Bieber has 25.3 million followers.
