On Thursday, Beyonce was photographed at Luna Park, an amusement park in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, New York. She was reportedly using the park as a backdrop for the video for her new single, “XO,” according to the New York Daily News.
Pictures have surfaced online of the singer, dressed in blue jeans, a white tank top and a Notorious B.I.G. hat, riding the iconic 86-year-old Cyclone roller coaster with a big smile on her face.
Bey’s surprise visit only lasted 45 minutes and shocked many of her fans. “This is the craziest and best thing I’ve seen in my whole life,” a 19-year-old fan told the News. “I came out to Coney Island for the day. It was a lucky day.”
While details surrounding the video are sparse, the clip is said to be directed by famed fashion photographer Terry Richardson, a frequent collaborator of Lady Gaga’s. The song is lifted off Beyonce’s upcoming fifth album, which has yet to be titled.
