Larry Busacca/PW/WireImage for Parkwood EntertainmentRumors of a 2018 Beyonce/JAY-Z tour seemed to be confirmed today when one concert date was posted on Bey’s Facebook and Ticketmaster pages — but then, it was quickly erased.
“Beyonce & Jay-Z – On The Run 2, July 30, Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia” was posted this morning on Facebook, and captured by Complex before it disappeared.
Bey and JAY’s 2014 On The Run tour featured 20 sold-out stadiums, and earned over $100 million, making it the fifth highest-grossing tour of that year. Their final concert, September 12, 2014 in Paris, was taped for an HBO special.
Beyonce and JAY-Z are featured on the new DJ Khaled song, “Top Off,” and they also appear in the “Family Feud” video from Hova’s 4:44 album.
Last night, they hosted an Oscars after party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles celebrating Mary J. Blige’s nominations for Best Supporting Actress, and Best Original Song, “Mighty River,” from Mudbound.
Jordan Peele, who won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for Get Out, was among the attendees, as were Drake and Tracee Ellis-Ross, according to Entertainment Tonight.
