Columbia RecordsMathew Knowles was the driving force behind the success of Beyonce‘s music career. Now the singer’s father and former manager is holding a boot camp in Houston for emerging talent later this month.
According to his label’s official website, Mathew is offering a one-day boot camp called “The Entertainment Industry: How Do I Get In?” October 24 at Zilkah Hall in The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. The seven-hour event is aimed at industry hopefuls, including aspiring singers, dancers, composers, writers, producers, managers, and publicists, to whom Knowles will give industry insights based on his experience. Attendees can expect to “leave with real information, contacts and strategies for their own successful entertainment endeavors.”
