Ollie Millington/RedfernsSinger-songwriters Bibi Bourelly and Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals are set to perform during this year’s BET Music Awards on Sunday, June 26.
Taking the Music Matters side stage, according to Headline Planet, both acts will have the chance to enthrall current and new music fans.
German-born Bourelly has written for many of today’s most notable recording artists, such as Rihanna and Selena Gomez, and has been a featured artist on tracks by Lil Wayne, Usher and Nick Brewer. Entertainment Weekly named her “one of the best artists to see” at the 2016 South by Southwest Festival.
Rolling Stone magazine credited Anderson .Paak for bringing the “boom bap” sound back into the musical landscape. He is best known by fans for his contributions to Dr. Dre‘s Compton album, which was released in 2015.
