Noam Galai/Getty ImagesOutkast‘s Big Boi says his collaboration album with smooth singer-songwriter and producer Sleepy Brown, Big Sleepover, was “complete and ready to go” before COVID-19.  Now he’s just waiting to release it.

“Yeah, it’s done. The whole pandemic happened and then, we put the brakes on it,” he tells ABC Audio. “But the album is complete and ready to go.”

Following the sexy single, “Intentions” with Goodie Mob member CeeLo Green, the rapper tells ABC Audio the album’s next single reflects our current moment.

“The next single is called ‘Can’t Sleep,’ which is so appropriate for what’s going on right now because I know a lot of people can’t sleep with all that’s going,” he says. (AUDIO IS ABC 1-ON-1)

Big Boi says of the album, “It’s coming real soon.”

Back in 2003, Sleepy Brown teamed with Outkast for their number one hit “The Way You Move.”
