Blxst, Mozzy and YG connect for a West Coast link-up

Red Bull RecordsLA rapper and singer Blxst was spotted with West coast natives Mozzy and My Life 4Hunnid rapper YG.

On Monday, Blxst shared an Instagram photo of the three with the caption, “The underdogs up now.” The photo appears to be taken from an upcoming music video, which could mean new Blxst music is on the way.

Blxst previously lent vocals to Mozzy’s tracks “I Ain’t Perfect,” and mostly recently on “Streets Ain’t Safe,” and “Keep Hope.” 

After years of producing hits for heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar, Eric Bellinger, G Perico and others, Blxst is taking off with his solo career. The multi-hyphenate released his highly-anticipated debut EP, No Love Lostlast September.

Led by his breakout single, “Hurt,” and a series of cinematic music videos filmed in his hometown, No Love Lost’s resulted in a deluxe release last December and additional collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign,Tyga, Dom Kennedy and Bino Rideaux.

Last week, Blxst dropped his follow-up EP, Just for Clarity, via Red Bull Records. The surprise two-track project captures Blxst’s exceptional rapping, singing, writing and production skills, with contributions from hitmaker Russ and LA rapper Drakeo the Ruler.
