Bobbi Kristina Brown’s Family to Hold Public Vigil

by

LifetimeBobbi Kristina Brown‘s family is still praying for a miracle, and they are asking the public to do the same at a vigil tonight.

The “Shining a Light for Healing” vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight at the Amphitheater at Riverdale Town Center in Riverdale, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta, and is open to the public.

“All are welcome to attend as a show of support for Bobbi Kriss & Family,” reads a notice posted on Brown’s cousin Jerod Brown‘s Facebook page.

Bobbi Kristina remains hospitalized after being found unresponsive, face-down in a bathtub on January 31. Brown, 21, the only child of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown, was rushed to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, where she had been treated, but sources have told ABC News that she has since been moved to the Neurology Intensive Care Unit of Emory University Hospital.

The Houston family last week released a statement about Brown’s condition.

“Bobbi Kristina is fighting for her life and is surrounded by immediate family,” the statement read. “As her father already stated, we are asking you to honor our request for privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your prayers, well wishes, and we greatly appreciate your continued support.”

Brown’s cousin also asked for privacy. “Let the detectives do their jobs,” Jerod Brown told E! News last week, referring to the police investigation underway. “We all want to know what happened right now. We’d like to know what’s going on.”
