LifetimeNick Gordon has checked out of rehab.
The partner of Bobbi Kristina Brown was released last Thursday, a family member confirmed to ABC News Tuesday.
“He is doing awesome,” said the source, adding that Gordon’s family was with him when he left the facility.
Gordon, 25, checked into treatment last month after an interview with Dr. Phil McGraw evolved into an intervention. During their conversation, Gordon, who was intoxicated at the time, revealed that he’s been suffering from “panic attacks” since Brown was unresponsive in a bathtub in January. His mother told McGraw that her son had tried to kill himself two weeks earlier by taking Xanax.
“He has blamed himself for the condition [Brown] was in,” she explained, adding that her son was also still struggling with the death of Brown’s mother, Whitney Houston.
Meanwhile, Brown remains in a rehab facility in Georgia. According to her maternal grandmother, Cissy Houston, the 22-year-old has “irreversible brain damage.”
