LifetimeNick Gordon, the partner of Bobbi Kristina Brown, has entered rehab after an television intervention was staged by Dr. Phil McGraw for an episode set to air on his syndicated TV show next week.
A family source confirms to ABC News that Gordon entered rehab. “The family supports Nick 100 percent,” the source adds.
As previously reported, on the Dr. Phil episode, set to air Wednesday, Gordon is joined by his mother, Michelle, as he “expresses the severe pain, mental anguish and panic attacks” he’s says he’s experienced since he discovered Whitney Houston‘s daughter unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home in January, and indeed, since Houston died three years earlier.
The episode description also says Gordon has been offered “the treatment he appears to so desperately need as he battles drug and alcohol addiction.”
Gordon appeared to be struggling earlier this week, when he tweeted, “I’m so hurt I wanna do myself in, I know I have to [be] strong.”
