Bobby Brown Talks Healing After Daughter Bobbi Kristina’s Death

by

Paul Warner/WireImageBobby Brown discusses how he and his family are coping with the loss of his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown on Monday’s season two premiere of The Real.

“We prayed and hoped for six months…for something better to happen, recalls Brown. “But when God calls you, he calls you.”

Bobbi Kristina, who was found unresponsive in her condo bathtub last January, died surrounded by her loved ones in a hospice this past July.

Three years earlier, her mother, Whitney Houston, died from accidental drowning and was found unresponsive and underwater in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Brown takes comfort in the belief that Bobbi Kristina is reunited with her mom.

“I’m pretty sure her mother was … had a part with like, ‘Come on, let’s get her up here’…in the best way possible,” notes Brown. “She’s not comfortable by herself, I guess. She just called my daughter with her.”

The Real airs on Fox and in national syndication, with a rebroadcast on BET.
