Breakthrough Artist of the Year Megan Thee Stallion killed her rodeo-style performance at the Apple Music Awards Monday night.

“Its super important for me to perform for the Apple Music Awards because these songs touch my hotties. Everything I do is for y’all,” said the rapper during her virtual appearance.

Houston’s own wore a glittery gold bustier with a cowboy hat to twerk down in a rodeo arena with her hot girls for performance of “Realer” and “Cash S***,” from last year’s Fever mixtape.

From her recently released debut album, Good News, Megan performed “Girls in the Hood,” “Don’t Stop” and her #1 single, “Savage.” According to Megan, “being ‘classy, bougie, ratchet” are the perfect ingredients of a Houston woman.

Megan and the ladies closed out the concert with a “Body” odi-odi-odi performance of her latest viral single and potentially her next one, “Work That,” a Good News track that samples Juvenile‘s 2006 hit “Rodeo.”

Between songs, clips from Megan’s childhood and her neighborhood in South Park, Houston, Texas appeared on screen, featuring Megan with her father and different family members including her late mother, Holly Thomas. Thomas served as a driving force, inspiration and support for Megan and her career prior to her passing in March 2019 from a brain tumor.
