Bruno Mars wins big at 2017 Soul Train Awards

Kai Z. FengBruno Mars cleaned up at the 2017 Soul Train Awards Sunday night, taking home awards for Best R&B/Soul Male Artist, Video of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Dance Performance, nearly sweeping the six categories in which he was nominated

It was also a big night for Sza, who won for Best New Artist and Best R&B/Soul Female Artist.

Solange, who led all nominees with seven nods, only walked away with a single award — the Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award which she shared with Troy L. John and Raphael Saadiq for their work on “Cranes in the Sky.”
