Bun B, Halle Berry & more support Megan Thee Stallion after she claims Tory shot her

by

Courtesy of Huxley WorldCelebrities spent the weekend standing up for Megan Thee Stallion, after the “Savage” rapper claimed Tory Lanez shot her in both feet for “no reason” last month.

“Yes, this [man] Tory shot me,” Megan said during an Instagram Live session last Thursday. “You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs, lying and [stuff].  Stop lying. Why lie? I don’t understand.”

Since the announcement, Megan’s friends and other celebrities have issued statements on social media in support of her and Black women in general, while calling for Tory to explain his actions.

Bun B: “I tried to be impartial and cool about this, but [screw] that man,” Bun B said. “Tory Lanez, and I don’t care if this goes viral or none of that, I’m from Houston. If somebody would have done something to Megan in this city, we would have rolled. Megan in L.A. by herself. It’s just her and T-Farris. She ain’t got her mama no more; her mama is gone. Her daddy is gone. Her grandmother is gone. All the people that loved and cared about her unconditionally cared about her and would have protected her ain’t there. So as an O.G. in Houston, I’m standing up.”

“Tory Lanez did some [wack stuff], period. Yeah, I know Tory, I know his manager and all them. But forget all that. If the man on drugs, get him some rehab. If the man got mental health issues, get him some therapy. But you not gon’ sit here and shoot this girl and we not gon’ say nothing. Anytime a man hurts a woman, that’s an obsession. That ain’t love. He had no reason to shoot this girl.”

T.I.: “How do you shoot a girl in a bikini? That’s crazy. Mhmm, that’s unacceptable. I don’t have words, I’m just waiting on the whole story. Under no circumstances should any man be accepted for shooting a black woman, any woman. Tory, you need to say something, bruh. Come on. You need to say something. You have to speak to this. To be honest, you got a lot of fans and supporters. You got a lot of people out here who stood next to you and stand next to you and do music with you. At least call somebody on the phone and say something. You got to say something, bruh. This [is] looking bad.”

Chance the Rapper: “I hope Meg really gets justice for what Tory did to her. And that we can all learn from this, how near and constant and serious, the threat of lethal violence and abuse is for every Black woman.”

Michael B. Jordan: “Meg, I admire you for your courage and applaud you for speaking up. We must support Black women, protect Black women, and believe Black women.”

Halle Berry: “Peace. Protection. Respect. For ALL Black Women. ALWAYS. @theestallion, we stand with you. [Screw] this [stuff].”

Mario: “This @theestallion & @torylanez situation got me in awe. Sad AF? Knowing Tory personally this [is] crazy to me. Black men we gotta learn how to control our ego, anger, etc. at some point the switch gotta turn off! Protect black women! Heal black men. Love & respect for each other!”

JoJo: “Love, respect and peace and protectiong to @theestallion.”
