On Thursday, Cardi took to Instagram to deliver another announcement about her first single from her long-awaited sophomore album, the follow-up her 2018 debut Invasion of Privacy.

“What up y’all, it’s your girl Cardi B and I know I told y’all yesterday that I would be telling y’all a surprise today, and yes I am,” she said. “I will be dropping the music video for ‘WAP’ tonight.”

Cardi B also wanted to give fans a heads-up that video will feature the censored version of the song — “Because the song is so nasty that YouTube was like ‘hold on, wait a minute that song might be too nasty,'” she explained.

However, the uncensored version will be available on all other music platforms after its midnight ET release.  To celebrate, Cardi also let fans know that she’ll be going live on YouTube at 11:30 pm ET, just a half-hour before.

Fans will also be able to purchase a vinyl copy of the highly-anticipated record, autographed by Cardi herself.

“Make sure y’all getting y’all’s vinyls, Megan wrote on Instagram. “‘WAP’ out at midnight.”
