OWYN, which stands for “Only What You Need”, released a statement wanting to join forces with like-minded people during this time of need. Cardi B joined forces with OWYN to bring vegan-based nutritional food to the NYC hospital. Bringing over 20,000 shakes to New York stating she “wanted to help the workers who, in most cases, don’t even get a chance to eat during their shifts.” With her help, the nutrition company will donate 2% of their sales to @foodallergy during the month of April in order to give people access to allergen-friendly meals.
