Steven Ferdman/Getty ImagesTuesday was understandably nerve-wracking for many people. One person in particular was “WAP” rapper Cardi B, who let fans know how disappointed she was as election results rolled in early Wednesday.
The 28-year-old, who told fans that she is not much of a smoker anymore, turned to her old vice to help calm her nerves as the nation strapped in for a rollercoaster of an election.
Sharing a video of her shoving three lit cigarettes into her mouth, Cardi B deadpanned in the video caption, “How these elections got me watching these states turn red.”
The Grammy Award-winning artist also pursed her lips in disappointment and lightly shook her head in the video as she exhaled a cloud of smoke.
Cardi B has been one of the more active celebrities trying to inspire fans to head to the polls on November 3. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper even shared with fans that she rolled out of bed at 5 in the morning to hit up her local voting place as early as possible.
As of early Wednesday, voting results are still being tabulated in the presidential election and it is too early to call a victor. ABC News will have your most up to date election coverage and a breakdown of all the state and national political winners online.
