Superstar actor Chadwick Boseman has added a new stripe to his illustrious Hollywood resume, as a co-producer of the big screen flick 21 Bridges.
Boseman, also stars in the crime-drama as NYPD detective Andre Davis who joins a citywide manhunt for two young cop killers. The search includes closing all of Manhattan’s 21 bridges to prevent the suspects from escaping.
The movie opened this weekend alongside ‘A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood’ and ‘Frozen 2,’ and is expectedto gross up to 12 million from this weekend … It’s on it’s way as it made $3.3 million on its first day.
Boseman is already getting rave reviews for his role in the film.

Boseman has nailed such iconic roles as Jackie Robinson, James Brown and of course the fictional ‘Black Panther.’ When it comes to his first foray in to producing, he told the Los Angeles Times:
“Once you have seen the full scope of what it takes to tell a story in a collaborative process, there’s sort of this need to facilitate it. You feel a need to help bring this thing [to life], to birth it.” Read more here.
