James DimmockAn all-new Showtime at the Apollo TV special, featuring host Steve Harvey, will premiere in February with what is shaping up to be a special night of performances.
Chaka Khan, T.I. with Meek Mill, and rappers Quavo and RaRa are all set to perform on the legendary Apollo stage. Comedians Mike Epps and Gabriel Iglesias also will appear.
And of course, viewers will be treated to the venue’s iconic Amateur Night of performances from up-and-coming artists who may — or may not — get booed off the stage.
En Vogue, Bell Biv DeVoe, Doug E. Fresh and Rakim graced the Apollo stage last December during a Showtime at the Apollo two-hour television special.
Showtime at the Apollo returns February 1 on Fox at 8 p.m. ET.
