Chaka Khan Will Dance to Her Own Song in Dancing with the Stars Premiere

In case you needed another reason to tune into the season premiere of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars, we’ve learned the opening numbers that each celebrity will groove to on the opening night.

The network has announced that Chaka Khan, one of the older dancers, is set to hit the ballroom floor to her own song, 1984’s “I Feel For You,” alongside her partner Keo Motsepe.

Another diva in her own right, Tamar Braxton, will show off her moves to “Do Your Thing” by Basement Jaxx. The singer is paired with season 20 champion Val Chmerkovskiy.

The entertainers will compete against Spy Kids actress Alexa PenaVega and her husband, musician Carlos PenaVega; Backstreet Boy Nick Carter; Bindi Irwin, daughter of late Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin; jockey Victor Espinoza; and 15-year-old online star Hayes Grier.

Dancing with the Stars’ two-night premiere begins Monday, September 14 at 9 p.m. ET.
