Tommaso Boddi/Getty Images for EIFFans on social media are roasting Chance the Rapper for supporting Kanye West‘s presidential bid, suggesting he trusts his friend of many years over Joe Biden.

On Monday, the Chicago rapper ruffled more than a few feathers on Twitter, when he retweeted Kanye’s new song and video for “Donda,” named after his late mother.

“And yall out here tryna convince me to vote for Biden. Smfh,” Chance captioned the video. He continued in another tweet asking followers “Are you more pro Biden or anti ye?” and to explain why Joe Biden would be the better candidate in this “hypothetical scenario.”

Fans began pointing put the obvious fact that Kanye has never voted in an election, which he openly admitted in recent Forbes interview. One fan said, “Kanye’s candidacy is a joke, but I’ll take Chance’s question seriously.  Kanye knows nothing about policy, has 0 experience, called slavery a choice, backed Trump, is an anti-vaxxer, etc. Biden has experience & plans for climate change, race, the economy, etc.”

Another said, “Later he’ll just use the guise that he wanted to ‘start a conversation,'” while others were calling for Chance to delete his account.

After seeing the responses, Chance returned to say, “I finally got the answer now. Yall trust Biden more than yall trust Ye. I think I understand why I just don’t feel the same way.”

Chance the Rapper might be the second artist to support Kanye’s bid presidency, following 2 Chainz, who wrote, “I hated I voted early” on Instagram after Kanye’s announcement earlier this month.
