Chris Brown Addresses Michael Brown Decision

by

RCA RecordsChris Brown has gathered his thoughts on the ongoing controversy after a grand jury in Missouri declined to bring charges against police officer Darren Wilson for the August 9 shooting death of unarmed black teen Michael Brown.

The singer posted a class photo of the slain teenager via his Instagram and expressed his feelings in a lengthy caption.

I usually don’t say too much sh** on really sensitive subjects but this is beyond f**ked up. We as a black community and me as a young black troubled individual need justice to be done,” he wrote. “We also as black people need to find other more effective ways of protesting.”

He continued, “We are strong and powerful and have come along way and its a shame that it feels like the 1950s and 60s. Just because u are given a badge and a gun doesn’t mean you are invincible and not accountable for your actions. May God be with us all. #justiceforMIKEBROWN.”
