ABC/Randy HolmesChris Brown and Nicki Minaj are joining forces this fall for a tour, Variety has learned.
While the itinerary for the tour isn’t available yet, the publication can confirm that New Jersey’s Prudential Center has listed a September 13 date with Brown being top-billed and Minaj being featured. Tickets for this show apparently go on sale as early as next Friday, April 26.
The possibility of a joint tour arrives on the heels of the R&B crooner dropping off a new single, featuring the Head Barb, titled “Wobble Up.” This record follows previous collaborations such as 2012’s “Right by My Side” and 2013’s “Love More.”
In other Minaj-related news, the rapper is reported to have cut ties with her management team. Sources tell Billboard that the Queen lyricist has parted ways with her longtime managers Gee Roberson and Cortez Bryant of the Blueprint Group and Maverick Management.
Minaj reportedly has not yet contracted a new management team.
While the reasoning behind the decision is unclear, Billboard reports the split was “amicable.”
