Chris Brown has suffered another road block with his Between the Sheets tour. On Tuesday, the singer was prohibited from crossing the border to play his scheduled shows in Canada.

The singer, who was expected to perform two sold-out shows in Toronto and Montreal, revealed the unexpected news via Twitter.

“The good people of the Canadian government wouldn’t allow me entry. I’ll be back this summer and will hopefully see all my Canadian fans!” several news outlets reported that the singer tweeted before the tweets were deleted.

Concert promoter Live Nation confirmed to CBC News that the shows were cancelled “due to immigration issues.”

Alongside Trey Songz and Tyga, Brown was scheduled to appear at Montreal’s Bell Centre on Tuesday night and at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on Wednesday night.
