Christina Milian has given her Twitter followers a play-by-play of her emotions as she gears up for the 17th season of ABC’s hit show, Dancing with the Stars, which premieres tonight.
The singer, who is paired with Mark Ballas, posted a video on her Instagram account late Sunday night to let everyone know that her nerves were causing insomina. “I really cannot sleep right now, I can’t sleep, OMG,” she says. “Crazy day tomorrow.”
On Monday morning, a fresh-faced Milian posted an image of herself with a caption that reads, “Good Morning! Hope you’re ready to embark on this journey with me today. Only got a few hours of sleep last night but I know my adrenaline and your support will keep me going today.” She then advised her followers, “Be willing to do things above and beyond your imagination.”
Once she got backstage, she then posted, “We’re here!!!! This is my 1st rehearsal on the #dwts stage! Crazzzzy!!” She later thanked Ballas, adding, “So appreciative of what I have learned thus far.. So much more to go! I’m loving every moment.”
With only a few hours left to go, Milian tweeted, “My hair and makeup are coming together beautifully! The girls here really know what they’re doing!”
Fans can expect C-Mili to live tweet during the broadcast and she also reminded everyone to vote via Facebok. The ballroom will open its doors to 12 new celebrities, including Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Leah Remini, Jack Osbourne and Amber Riley, tonight at 8 p.m. ET.
