Epic RecordsCiara gave one fan more than he asked for while performing before a sold out crown in her hometown of Atlanta Wednesday night.
While showcasing at the Center Stage Arena, the singer invited one lucky male fan on stage for the lap dance portion of the show. In concert footage posted online, we see Ciara maneuvering herself off the ground when she accidentally kicks the man in the face. Fortunately, though, she was able to get through the rest of her dance set to “I Run It, and she even leaned in for a kiss as the stage lights dimmed.
Shortly after the show, the lucky fan, Tavi Chavez, revealed via Twitter: “I ASSURE you, that kick was NOT as bad as it seemed. I’ll cherish that kick for the REST of my life!!” He added, “Don’t feel bad, who else can say they got kicked by their idol?”
Meanwhile, Ciara’s headlining North American tour is scheduled to pull into Miami’s Fillmore on May 15.
