Ciara‘s first smash single,”Goodies,” is officially a ten years old.
Over the weekend, the singer thanked her fans via Instagram for supporting her career for the past decade. “#10YearAnniversaryOfGoodiesSingleRelease. #GoodiesEra. I’m So Thankful To God 4 Making My Dreams Come True,” she wrote in the accompanying caption.
She continued, “I Knew In My Soul This Song Would Be The Party Starter 4 Me. It Was Indeed!:)#MuchMore2Accomish. So Excited 4 LP 6:) It’s Just The Beginning.”
“Goodies” featuring Petey Pablo later went on to reach triple-platinum status for selling more than three million copies. The song appeared on Ci Ci’s debut self-titled album, which also spawned her Missy Elliot-assisted “1,2 Step” and “Oh” with Ludacris.
