Ciara has teamed up with former American Idol contestant Todrick Hall for an official remix of his song “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels.”
Initially teased back in June, the bouncy track finds Ciara adding a rapid-fire verse in which she boasts about her model-like features and hefty bank account.
The collaboration marks the “Level Up” singer’s first taste of new music since dropping off her seventh studio album, Beauty Marks, this past May.
“Todrick is such a visionary, I have been a fan of his work for some time now,” Ciara told Billboard regarding the collaboration. “It’s exciting to see what he’s going to create every time he drops something.”
She added: “He reached out to me a while ago to join him on one of his songs, and this was the track that I loved. I’m so excited that it is finally out!”
The original track was a sensation in the LGBTQ community, largely due to its accompanying dance-infused music video, which has accumulated nearly 15 million views.
