Ciara shows off her long legs and new hairstyle on the cover of PAPER magazine’s September issue. For the cover story, Ci Ci discusses everything from her her beau, Future, to her comeback album, Ciara.
When it comes to her relationship, Ciara admits that her rapper boyfriend is “very understanding” and he’s also her “best friend.” The “Body Party” singer adds, “It’s important to have a feeling that you can talk about anything and know a person’s going to be there and support you. When we’re together, it’s not about who we are. I feel very normal, very safe and loved.”
In addition to the success in her personal life, she’s also on an upswing professionally. Her latest album recently debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart, second only to Jay-Z‘s Magna Carta…Holy Grail. “There’s a lot of love in it — a lot of heart and passion,” Ciara says of the disc. “It reflects the spirit and energy that I’m feeling right now. What people are hearing is my true self-expression and the energy I’m living.”
The 25-year-old singer, who has seemingly accomplished a lot in a short period of time, feels that she’s only getting started. “I feel like my journey’s just beginning,” Ciara says. “There’s much I haven’t done I still feel like a little kid. I still have my youthful energy and spirit. I’m super excited by my future.”
