Image Group LA/ABCCiara and husband Russell Wilson aren’t the only ones excited for the birth of their first child.
The singer’s two-year-old son, Future Zahir, whose father is rapper Future, is just as ecstatic. Ciara tells Entertainment Tonight that he “can’t wait” and is “already obsessed with babies.”
“He rubs my belly and he says, ‘Hi baby. I love you, baby,’… and then he puts my shirt down and says, ‘Bye, bye baby’,” says Ciara.
“He sees a baby walking, smaller than him and walking — it doesn’t matter, it’s a baby. So, he goes, ‘baby’ and looks at me and he goes, ‘Mama, baby’ — and he tries to pull my sweatshirt up,” she adds.
The vocalist shared the joy both felt after sharing the news of Ciara’s pregnancy to fans on her birthday this year.
“It was kind of a cool gift, you know, one first for us to be able to have, my husband and I,” the star says, adding, “I think for my fans to be able to share that gift on my day was also special too. It made my birthday one of the most memorable birthdays of all.”
Oh, and Ciara says she and Wilson have a name picked out for their soon-to-be bundle of joy.
